Cochrane & Area Events Society is a non-profit group of dedicated volunteers who plan large-scale community events to promote community spirit in Cochrane. They are active all year, planning and running Cochrane's Canada Day event, the Labour Day Parade, Stuff-a-bus Christmas fundraiser and New Year's Eve festivities.
