Beginner Acrylic Landscape Painting at Route 22

Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery is offering introductory painting classes in October.  These 4 –  2 hour afternoon sessions will cover:

Composition, Paint Mixing, use of light sources and shadows; and showing depth in painting through size, colour detail etc.

Instructors will provide and paint subject matter by demo and instruction throughout the classes.  Students will be assisted in following along with the same procedure provide through the demonstration.

Students will discuss concepts in understanding the pros and cons of using acrylic as a medium; how to seal your work; use of grids for perspective and accuracy and the importance of painting from photographs.
