John Paul George & 30 Ringos

Come see a genuine Cochrane musical first! Part recital, part full blown pop concert; 30 drum students will take their turn at being Ringo for the day as they come together with the excellent “All you Need is love” Beatles Tribute band (minus their regular Ringo of course!) The unique event will be much more than a magical tour through the Beatles incredible songbook though. To build on the themes of community, fun, entertainment and learning, there will also be a number of local independent music tutors from piano to saxophone for audience members to chat with and learn about their instruments. Other attractions include a Beatles trivia quiz with a bundle of musical prizes (sponsored by Royal Mechanical Services) plus the chance to win a $300 pair of “Maui Jim” sunglasses for the grooviest 60s outfit as judged by the band (sponsored by Mountainview Optometry) There will be even be Beatles themed snacks! Plus a few other cool features being kept under wraps right now..
