Mead Day

Fallentimber Meadery not only makes traditional mead, but they are producing new and cutting edge mead products like their exceptionally popular Meadjito, their take on the classic mojito cocktail, but made with mead instead of rum!  During regular store hours, they offer tours of both the brewing side and honey house and also provide an opportunity for you to taste their mead and honey!  According to National Day Calendar, “Mead Day, on the first Saturday in August, increases awareness and fosters camaraderie among mead makers. A long history and rich craft and trade follow mead where ever it is found.”
