Now in its 59th year, this iconic Labour Day weekend tradition features 16 adrenaline-pumping events, including bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, barrel racing, ranch bronc, and wild pony races. Cheer on top athletes from across the country as they compete in one of Alberta’s most respected CPRA-sanctioned rodeos. With fast-paced action, skilled horsemanship, and a deep-rooted sense of community pride, the Cochrane Lions Rodeo offers an authentic and unforgettable western experience for all ages.
