Stockmen’s Museum & Brand Library

The Stockmen’s Memorial Museum and Mercantile honours Alberta’s ranching legacy through thoughtfully curated exhibits, rare artifacts, and an extensive western library. Visitors can browse the mercantile’s western-themed goods and immerse themselves in the stories and traditions that built the region’s ranching culture.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We encourage you to park at the Cochrane Historical Museum, and walk, or take a horse drawn wagon (starting at 11am) through the Ranch. Parking is extremely limited at the Cochrane Ranchehouse.
