The idea for Big Hill Cycle was born while the owners were on the roads and trails in the southern Alberta area. Taking a break after a long climb or sitting on a bumper or tailgate at a trailhead, the idea grew until they realized it had become something real.
With over 40 years of combined experience working with bikes and cyclists in the Calgary area, the team at Big Hill Cycle has seen the sport evolve to become something much more than a hobby or pastime for many. They've have had the pleasure of watching tiny tots grow up through various wheel sizes to become passionate cyclists for life — it's a big part of why they are proud to be a family bike shop and carry products to reflect those values.
