Courtney is a tourism marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience and a deep passion for storytelling, community connection, and sharing the experiences of Cochrane & Area with the world. As part of the Explore Cochrane team and a proud Cochrane resident, she focuses on promoting the town and surrounding area through visitor-focused campaigns, digital strategy, and collaborative partnerships that showcase local businesses, landscapes, and year-round experiences.

With a background in destination marketing, brand development, and content creation across experiences, accommodations, industry associations, food and beverage, nonprofits, and festivals, Courtney brings a visitor-first approach to everything she does. She loves helping travellers uncover meaningful, memorable ways to explore the region and is especially passionate about making Cochrane a foothills destination visitors genuinely fall in love with and want to build into their Alberta travel plans. When she’s not working on campaigns, you’ll most often find her exploring Alberta’s foothills with her husband and pup, supporting local businesses, or dreaming up new ways to share the stories that make small communities like Cochrane so special.
