The Path invites visitors to experience winter through handcrafted hot chocolates, welcoming local cafés, and the simple pleasure of wandering the foothills at a slower pace. From small-town streets to nearby foothills communities, it encourages a relaxed, self-guided way to enjoy winter, unhurried, warm, and full of local flavour.

Along the way, select participating locations will feature donation tap machines in support of the Helping Hands Society of Cochrane & Area, providing a simple way to give back while you sip and explore.

Sip a British-inspired hot chocolate while taking in sweeping farm views at Cheshire Farm, just outside Cochrane. This booking-only winter experience in Cochrane & Area invites visitors to slow down, enjoy a cozy fireside moment worth the drive, and explore the farm at their own pace.

Hot chocolate is the featured experience. A self-guided tour of the farm can be included with the purchase of a hot chocolate, while a guided farm tour is available for an additional fee for those who want to explore further. A bench and outdoor fireplace create the perfect setting to savour the moment, whether you’re here for the views, the flavours, or both.
