Recently local Cochrane restaurant Aama Nepalese Cuisine of Heritage Hills, was named one of Avenue Calgary’s ‘8 Best New Restaurants of 2024!
Chef & Owner Gyanendra Sharma and his wife Tara Poudel first opened their doors in the summer of 2022, bringing culinary favourites such as their momos and Sherpa stew (which continue to be customer favourites) to the menu, while all their yak dishes served feature a local source from a farm near Rimbey, Alberta.
