Speed-Friending

We’re ready to help break the ice and get rid of those awkward social barriers!

Speed-Friending provides an opportunity to meet new friends in Cochrane in a fun and casual environment! Set up like speed-dating, attendees engage through easy-going and direct conversations, along with ice breakers, resulting in new connections and friendships.

This idea first stemmed from repeatedly hearing from people that they’re looking to build new friendships, but aren’t sure where to start as adults. With so many new people coming to Cochrane, we see the need and interest for this type of event even more.

YES! Most people do tend to come alone to these events, but you’re welcome to come with a friend – you’ll just have some time to chat with them too.

Found’s bar will be open with wine, beer, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks available.
