IT’S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR
After a couple of years of absence, we can gather again to enjoy the Cochrane Outhouse Races at the historic downtown to see the teams race rolling outhouses up and down First Street chuck wagon-style.
Haven’t you heard about it? Well, allow us to enlighten you. Different local businesses, sports clubs, and other organizations form teams of 5 and design creative outhouses themes. All outhouses have a toilet inside, four people from the team will push and one of them rides on the “throne” inside.
To register, each team will contribute with a donation, and the cheques will be presented and recognized during the event. All the proceeds of this event will be used to support the Glenbow Ranch Foundation’s Summer Camp Program and our local community projects through the Rocky Mountain Rotary Club.
Let’s enjoy a summer afternoon with, music, laughter, delicious food and beverages, thanks to our local food trucks surrounding the event. All in an effort to raise money for important charitable causes within our community.
